Today, i decided to go and visit Lady. I woke up and prepared and set off to Pasir Ris. When i reached Pasir Ris, i went to the supermarket to buy the dog bone for Lady. Then i rushed to the interchange to take the bus to Ericsson. When i reached the farm, the caretaker was not there. Hence i cannot go in to see Lady. I called her and she told me that she was at Clementi. She was unable to open the door for me. So i felt very disappointed and i cried, and when i thought of Jessie, i felt even more sad and i cried even more. But i still waited for the caretaker. Well, i waited till 12.10pm. I just gave her a call and tell her that i left the bones for Lady at the door and went back to the bus stop. On the way to the bus stop, i continued crying. Coz i felt very.... bu gan xing. I really want to see my dog, Lady. The clouds gathered. And it started to drizzle a little.
I went back to bugis. Jason wanted to meet me and have lunch together. We met each other at 1pm. I reached early. I told Marvin and Elaine that he would be coming. Marvin told me hide in the store and when he come, Marvin would kick him away. :) Elaine said that she wanted to see him. When Jason reached, i introduced him to Elaine and Marvin. Elaine did respond but for Marvin, he was serving a customer so.... i told Jason that Marvin met him before. After that, he asked me whether there is any other people i want him to meet. I told him no because they are not here yet. I went for our lunch. We walked around And decided to eat Mos Burger. He ordered a cheese burger and i ordered a small ice lemon tea.
We sat down and chatted. From our quite long conversation, i found out quite a lot about him. First, i found out that he is a mixed. His father is a malaysia and his mother is a UK citizen. He have a elder brother and sister and a younger sister. At about 4 years old, he went to UK to stay with his mother because his father and mother divoced. As for his studies, he studied to like UK secondary. He started to work after his secondary school. He worked as a metal fabric something something maker. He said he worked for 5 years there but he felt very bored, hence, he wanted to come to Singapore for a change. But for pass few or 6 months, he was travelling around Asia. He told me that he went to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan... and some other places. He also said that he wants to study in Singapore, ina college, a course maybe IT coz he is quite interested in studying IT. He told me that whenever his sister and him comes to Bugis, they will go Topshop. His sister always buy thing form Topshop. He also said he will look at Topman thing but he didn't see anything he like but he saw me. -____-'''...
Now, not that i want to say something is weird about his travelling and stuff. Who is paying for him? For his travels, and stuff like staying in a HOTEL in Singapore. I was thinking maybe he have a silver spoon in his mouth already and maybe he is not depending on himself? I am not sure too. And one more thing. If he were to study till the age of 17, and worked for 5 years, then he is 26 years old now, 17+5=22 26-22=4 then the rest of the 4 years what were he doing? Anyway, i got back to work later.
I think all of my friends think i was crazy. Because they saw me smiling like crazy or something. Well i cannot deny that he really talk in a funny way that will open myself to talk a little more to him than the other people whom i just met and get to know them. BUT dun mistake that for LOVE. As for Love, i dun think that we can really work it out. Later, at the counter, Marvin called and i answered the phone. Marvin sounded a little like in a bad mood or like not very happy. He asked me what did the guy do to me or say to me or anything. I just told him the part where he said that his sister and him comes to Topshop quite often. Marvin repiled, ' But it is none of your business what.' I felt really, what to say... like he is not happy about me and Jason going out. I continued to say what Jason said to me. Marvin did laugh a little but not really anyway. He asked whether Murni and Marini were here already and i answered yes and he said bye~.
What can i say. Later at work, i was not really myself coz i was still smiling and stuff like that and talking like a crazy girl about what happened. Elaine, Murni and Marini teased me and stuff like that. I really cannot stop laughing if they were to continue that the whole day. I stopped after Marvin came back. Marvin then went for his break with Elaine and Sadric(VM guy). I was afraid that Marvin might be unhappy coz i heard his voice from the phone earlier, it was not that good. Then Marvin somemore said that i have new boyfriend. Murni also said that. I told Marini that they bully me. But Marini sided me for a while and consoled me that it was boy- friend. But she still say that i have new boyfriend later. Well, they went for their break. Murni and Marini and I were half working and half having brain dead and half playing. Later, Marini and Murni went for their break and i waited till 5.30pm.
When i was about to go for my break, Marvin asked me to help to change money for them. 5 dollars worth of 50 dollars. I felt thristy and when to the store to see if i have any more ice lemon tea left. To my surprise, the cup was empty. I asked Elaine if she drank it or what. She said she didn't and i asked her maybe Marvin did. After Marvin was free, i asked him,' Whose ice lemon tea was that in the store.' Marvin said it was his one. I told him that it was mine. Then we all laughed. I told him anyway it was not my money, so nvm. Then i went to change money for him. I went to breadtalk and bought a bread and two cake. Well during the break, i only eat the bread as for the cake, i didnt eat them. Finally, break over. I got back to work.
Marvin still like to tease me but not so much because they were all thinking of doing VM for the shop. When it was 6.30pm, Elaine went home. Marvin stayed behind because he wanted to finish doing the VM. Well, Marini , Murni, Marvin and I still played and teased and played with each other now and then. Marvin worked full today. He told me that for supervisor or higher, even if they work full also cannot claim. Even for the commission, i got $200, Marvin got less than us. I felt so unfair for him. He was hungry later so he went out to buy some food back to eat.
Time just files so quickly today. It was already 10pm when i felt that it was only 9pm. And here comes our regular customer. She didn't want to come in but she noticed that we had some new colour for our basic jersey and some other new stock. She bought a denim skirt the kate moss and lycra crew(new colours) and a new arrival top. She spent about $120 plus after discount and voucher. Marvin was changing the clothes for the models. I helped him to put the sensor tag back and hang them back.
Marvin also told me about the trend for summer seaside, African, poolside and rebel. For summer seaside it is basically seaside trend. African is the use of more earth colours and the more tribe kinda of clothes. They also have some clothes used for going swimming and stuff like that. It will be a little like kinda of wearing a bit little but plus the modifications, and femine touch, it will look better. Somehow the clothes will look a bit like African people wear ones butmodified ones. For poolside, Marvin explained that Poolside is clothes that can be used at the pool but is for those which are more classy coz only rich people can afford poolside parties. The colours are also a little bright. And for rebel, it will be taking over Eastside. Just that there would be some changes. Now, the rebel will be in duller colours and the more rock prints and patterns. Just when Marvin was about to ask me about twenties, i ran away to hang to clothes... hahahaha.
Later when we were ready to go, Marvin and gang, teased me about Jason and me. They continued to walk while i stopped to tie the garbage bag. Marvin came and accompanied me. He said that it was weird of me to even sms him and he also asked why i go and sms him. That was in a more serious tone. As i began to walk, he said in a jokking tone, Must be because love at first sight. I dun really know whether he was like against me contacting Jason or what. When we were at the Perfume Counters, Marvin said wait and he took a Blue Water perfume and spray himself. He told me that it was the imitation of Cool Water of another brand. We walked to the MRT Station and Marvin told us a joke.
The story was like that, the objects were on a 'Say The Funniest Joke Contest' The one who said a not funny joke will have to go through punishment. First was the washing machine. Everyone laughed at his joke but only the microwave said it was very cold. Second, the telephone said a joke. This time it was reall funny and everyone laughed but still, the microwave asid that it was very cold. The last contestant, the computer told the funniest joke. Again, everyone laughed except for the Microwave. So the three of them went for the punishment. The microwave got angry and stood up and shouted at the fridge,'STOP LAUGHING WITH YOUR MOUTH OPEN. iT IS VERY COLD.' haha... i know it is a bit lame. but it is still funny. Murni bf went to fetch her. Nurlinda, Marini, Hwee yi, Marvin and i went home together.
