Hmmm.... Feelings for the day?? HAPPY!! but plus a bit sad... HAIZ....
Today, Denise rang me up at around 9.20am. She told me that she will be going to Topshop and Topman soon and she also asked me if i want her to help me get my paycheck. I told her that i also want to go today. So i hurried to go off to Bugis to meet her. We met at around10.35am. We then walked to Dority Perkins. We found out that the two staff got into some kind of trouble this morning. It is the 'help ppl punch card' problem. She was caught helping a friend punch card by a butch security.
We continued after chatting for some time. Denise and I walked to Topshop first. I saw Marvin and Nuri (the new staff from wisma). Heeh.. I admit that i felt really happy seeing Marvin around. Well, we asked for our paycheck and he gave it to us. When i got mine, I said THANK YOU real loud. Marvin gave a weird expression on his face. Well, sorry... We just stayed around looking and stuff. I helped a little. Take the empty hanger from the racks and helped opening the stock. Marvin still got that 'shy' look on his face, or is it a kind of smile that he is trying not to show. Later, i asked him what does Elaine mean by saying the paycheck and the certificate is really. He then said oh ya. And he passed me the Customer Service Certificate from Wing Tai. haha... i don't know, i think i remember Julie (training teacher) saying that they will give a certificate, but i did not expect it to be so late. We chatted and stuff like that. I asked did he buy the pink cap for me. He said Yes. Even though i showed a 'Mean U Should Have Done That' Face, But deep down inside me, I really APPRECIATE it!!!! And i really wanted to say thank you to him for SO MANY THINGS and its REALLY A LOT OF THINGS. But the words fail to come out. He also told me that he will be going back to Indonesia on 21 July 2004!!! I really feel very sad. Later, we chatted a little bit more and Denise asked if we want to leave now. Just nice, Marvin was doing cashiering, we didn't want to disturb him. Denise said bye but i didn't. The word Bye just would not come out of my mouth again, just like my last day at work.
Denise and I then proceed to Suntec Topman to help Pauline bank in her cheque. After that, we walked to the MRT station. However, Denise noticed the bus 75. She said that that bus can bring us to Ngee Ann Poly. So we tried to find the bus stop. We went into Marina Square and tried to figure a way out to lead to the bus stop. From there, we went into A hotel. Finally, we went to the lobby and found a way out. We saw the bus stop too. We walked there and found out that we have to take the bus from the opposite way along Raffles Ave. We went to the roof access of the Marina Square and walked to a Hotel entrance and then down the slope to the correct bus stop. We then took the bus 75 to Ngee Ann Poly. Luckily for Denise, she was able to reach the school in time. I walked her to her block and then back to the atrium.
